I’ve been spending the last week working on portfolio pieces. I had originally planned for this to be part of my professional portfolio to show my character design skills, but I don’t know if I still will. This is a more watered down version of my character sheets meant for animal characters and maybe minor characters as well.

Liah has always been Shae’s kindred spirit and a shoulder to cry on whenever he needed it.
They’re friends, not lovers. Both of them are in relationships with other people.
Yes… Nimbus, Liah’s companion animal is actually missing a wing.
The official launch of the Intrepid project begins now!
This is an ongoing project, the main storyline encompassing at least 20 issues. I will try to finish AT LEAST a page a week.
This comic is 15 years of blood sweat and tears finally coming together so for you furries out there that watch me, don’t dismiss the comic just because the main characters are not anthros. There will be many different alien species (some of them very anthro looking) to please you. Just give the comic a chance, that’s all I ask.

Though she is a member of the Imperial Suns, Liah has not had formal military training. She is a Reth’kaa, a rare breed of Ultimarian in tune with life. They draw upon the energy of the Life Goddess (Lifestream) to invoke special powers. With the exception of Ultimare’s Imperial Family, each Reth’kaa has one (and ONLY one power). Liah’s power is the ability to communicate with animal life. Even the wildest of animals show no fear or hostility towards her. She can calm attacking or rampaing animals with just her touch and the sound of her voice. She is a member of the Blackmane Order, a group of intergallactic beastmasters graced with the energy of the Lifestream.
Individuals with Liah’s abilities are highly prized by the Imperial Navy, so was recruited into the Suns by Aredon himself. She does not use fireams and will only go into battle armed with a beast and her ch’therden spear. The ch’therden is the trademark weapon of the Blackmane Order.
She is generally very well liked by the other members of the Suns, but often faces predjuduce from other members of the military due to the fact that she is not an “official” soldier.
