First pass sketch of the Aurynn. They represent a very important part of myself, so I’ve spent the better half of the last decade deciding how they are going to look.
My first representations of them were of translucent-skinned aliens who look sort of like Kaminoans and communicate with each other through tones. Yeahhh… coming back to that idea I realized that it wasn’t quite what I wanted.
I decided that white-and gold lion creatures would be a better representation for them. This is the first time I’ve really tried getting this species down on paper. I’ll probably spend a bit of time with the markings, since I try to make my aliens look a little different then “glorified furries”. This species is very likely to change.
