What is Intrepid?
All science fiction franchises have them. Those people who seem to dig waaay too deep into the science part of the story and knit-pick every scientific inaccuracy. I’ve even gotten a few people like that myself. Mostly I giggle a little because the Azure Wheel Galaxy, like most other Space Opera type settings, is not meant to be taken as scientific fact.

Bringing my portfolio to comic con...
… was a VERY good decision. Probably the best I’ve ever made. I was only expecting to get a few pointers from people in the industry to point me in the right direction. Instead I ended up with a colorist audition with Ethan VanSchiver of DC comics. I don’t know if it’ll go anywhere, but still. It was highly unexpected and more then a little inspiring.

Cashmans opened its doors at 11:00. I showed up at 11:20 to pick up Free Comic Book day comics for JF. All issues of Intrepid Issue 0 that I gave them to give away for Free Comic Book Day were already gone. ALL of them. Damn.
