Niray - Species Sheet
Species sheet for my Niray race. One of the oldest races that I’ve created. These guys have been with me for about 10 or so years. They’ve gone through quite a few changes in appearance over the years, but at the same time a lot of the aspects about this species never changed. I’m not convinced of this being either a good thing or a bad thing… I’m just happy...

Nirayuskwar
Hubby: What are you working on? Me: Space art. Hubby: Well that’s a little vague… you could be working on spacescapes… scenery… Me: I’m working on a spacescape of my water planet. It’s sort of like Manaan from the first Knight of the old Republic game. Remember Manaan? Hubby: Of course I remember it. I got banned from there. It was kind of funny seeing the...

Intrepid Updates - 1/27/2012
Just finished the script for Issue 5! Woot! That one was a very difficult for me to write since it’s such an important issue and wasn’t 100% sure where I wanted to go with it, but I am very happy with the result. I’m just waiting for me beta readers to get back to me to see if I need to do any tweaking to the final script.
I am currently doing the overview for issue 6. ...

Inspirational video me working on the script of issue 5. This song has always reminded me of the story… but that is no more true then issue 5. It’s a big issue and contains the turning point of the story.
Ignore the fact that this video contains a game. It’s the only video I could find of this song.

Denaq - Species Model Sheet
Species sheet for my Denaq race… essentially space Anubis (Anubi?) I really like this species as they are the total opposite that one would expect a species that has literally evolved from vicious guard dogs to be like.

Distant Hearts
I love me some cuddly couple pictures. Aredon, the hero of my upcoming webcomic, is ginormous. He’s about 7 feet tall and nothing but muscle. He is a gentle giant, however, and shows a good deal of caring and love towards those that matter most to him. The people that matter most in his life include: - His biological brother, Kyjja, an Ultimarian trader. Kyjja is the only member of...
Eskiworks: Thoughts on Art Pricing →

I have noticed an interesting image going around showing the difference between commercial pricing and online/fandom pricing for art. It usually sparks some pretty intense debates wherever it shows up. If you’re paying an artist to create something one-of-a-kind for you, there are many ways to…
Thank you for putting this together!

Niray - Species Concept
The natives of the water planet, Nirayuskwar. They are amphibious and can live either in or out of water indefinitely… but MUCH prefer being in water to the point where most of them don’t like leaving their homeworld. Some do choose to go out into the rest of the galaxy be it for exploration, mining, or feeling that doing so is their species’ duty as part of the Galactic...

Nirayuskwar and the Delsay System
Moar stuff for my super-secret project.
A planetary map for Nirayuskwar proved to be difficult… since that planet is pretty much all ocean save for a couple few-and-far-between small islands that the native Niray build cities on for any air breathers that visit the planet. That would have been a boring map. I decided to do a topography map of Nirayuskwar’s ocean floor. Textures...

Suu'lantharel: The Perpetual Storm
On the outlaying borders of the Teraj Starfield lies a nebula known as “Suu’lantharel”, which means “perpetual storms” in the language of the long extinct Tiatiem race. Due to the violent storms that rage throughout this nebula, residents of the Azure Wheel Galaxy see it as being impassible. With current technology, no ship could withstand repeated strikes from...

Train Doodles
With a 12 hour train ride from Montreal to Sarnia (not including an hour layover in Toronto and a 2 hour car ride from Sarnia to home), I had a lot of time to draw.
These are all doodles that I did for myself. Doodle commissions that I did will be posted in a big sketch dump on Deviant Art in the next few days.

Prelude to train doodles...
My train ride home was… ah… interesting. I seemed to run into idiot after idiot.
The first guy wasn’t an idiot… but he just made me giggle. The first train I got on was from Montreal to Toronto. It was crowded, so a guy sits down right next to me. He was the most stereotypical Japanese tourist that you can imagine. He had his camera and was taking pictures of the...

I just got back from Quebec last night. I have a family get together to go to today… so art soon.

So, I figured that since I haven’t updated in a bit, that I should give a few updates to let people know that I’m not dead.
I’m still on vacation in Quebec and will be here until Saturday morning. It’s been good seeing family and I feel like things are going to be looking up this year.
The hubby and I have been talking about my comic, and he brought up the interesting...
